Details:This necklace is a twist on the traditional claddagh, which sees two hands holding a heart, surmounted by a crown. Here we see a small Agate stone, held by two trinity knots, surmounted by a crown. The green colour of the agate is synonymous with Ireland, and the trinity knot is a traditional Celtic symbol. The Trinity knot originally represented the Mother, Maiden and Crone of the Triple Goddess of Neo-paganism. Upon the arrival of Christianity, it began to represent the Holy trinity; the Father, Son and the Holy spirit.
