Three Irish fishermen set out into the vast Atlantic ocean in their traditional curach craft, handmade from from canvas or animal skins to brave the notoriously changeable Irish weather. This piece celebrates the strength of working together to overcome difficulties.
The origins of sculptured pieces by the Irish company, Genesis, began in Ireland two thousand years ago during the bronze age. Today's method of creating a true work of art differs only in the more advanced forms of casting and finishing. All pieces are hand made from cold cast bronze and buffed by hand to achieve a distinctive finish. Every item is fully felted on the bottom to protect surfaces. Each limited edition is numbered, bears the artist's signature and has a Certificate of Authenticity.
