Husband and wife, Eugene and Anke McKernan, have specialized in woven and knitted Irish scarves and shawls from the finest and softest of natural yarns. Their work consciously differs from fast changing fashion trends and tries to emphasize their customer's individual touch.
The scarves are colourful, contemporary and distinctive.
McKernans draw their inspiration from the village of Tuamgraney in East Clare (South West of Ireland) close to the Scariff inlet of Lough Derg. East Clare is an area of great natural beauty hosting the majestic River Shannon and numerous fresh water rivers and lakes surrounded by wooded, gently rolling mountains.
