Details:

Inspired by Ireland's high crosses, which are found at old crossroads and meeting points around the emerald isle to this day, this cross beautiful depicts the knot-work that Ireland's celts were so famed for. This cross has a ring emcompassing the arms of the cross. This shows the great significance these crosses held. It would have been much easier for the Stone masons to leave them filled in.The ring acts to keep the arms from breaking off, however carving it out would have been a long, difficult and risky process.
