JMH Silver Claddagh Ring

A stunning ladies Claddagh Ring with a Celtic Weave Band. The Claddagh ring features two hands clasping a heart, usually surmounted by a crown. The heart, hands and crown represent love, friendship and loyalty respectively.
Traditionally, when the ring is on the right hand a nd facing outwards it indicated the lack of a serious relationship, as "their heart is open". When worn on the right hand with the heart facing in, the person is in a relationship or sombody has "captured their heart". Worn on the left hand ring finger, worn outward indicated that the person is engaged. When it is worn on the lefthand ring finger, it means that the wearer is married.
Handcrafted in Dublin, Ireland. Hallmarked in the Assay Office in Dublin Castle.
